Parklane Hotel in Mysore is a 3 star hotel with all the necessary amenities. It is located in Harsha Road, near to the Mysore Palace and only a few minutes walk to the entrance of the Palace.
The hotel provides four types of rooms like Comfort, Luxury, Luxury Deluxe and Super Deluxe. The first two types have only double room and the remaining two types available in Single and Double. If you are accompanied by a child, an extra sofa cum bed is provided for an additional charge of Rs. 500/- The room tariff ranges from US$ 30-50 only.
Parklane hotel is a very beautiful boutique hotel which attracts both domestic as well as international tourists. Hotel has a multi-cuisine restaurant in the first floor and it turns into a beer parlour after 7 in the evening. The restaurant staffs are very slow but very warm people. One more beer parlour is in the fourth floor and the other attraction is the pool at the top. The centre portion of the hotel is open which gives enough access to each floor. The reception staffs are not so friendly but they will at your service. You can see a small library and a gift shop beside the reception.
I stayed in one of the Luxury rooms (room no.409) in the hotel in last December for 2 nights and I was very happy about my stay except the fact that the food was a bit expensive. The room was, quiet spacious and neat, provided with LCD TV, Air Condition, Fan, Telephone, Safe Locker facility, and a Refrigerator. Both hot and cold water in the toilet with sufficient toilet paper. Once you check in, they provide you with two toilet kits, one for gent and one for lady. I paid Rs. 1600 for the room. In my opinion, it is a very nice place to stay since it will offer you good service for the money you play.
