i1 Super Series is India’s First motor sports league promoted by Machdar Motorsports. This series will have 12 races with 9 teams from different cities from India and a price money of 2 million dollars.
It is good to see that there are many sports lovers in India and the people in India are investing in such events. IPL was a big success, we had the first formula 1 race, which was a great event.
There are also news that Indian cricket captain, M.S.Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh are also in the race to buy teams for the i1 Super Series.
There are currently four teams announced, another 5 remaining. This time we did not see the name of Vijay Mallya and the Bangalore team is already been sold. Guess he is holding back this time because of the financial crisis with Kingfisher.
